What have I been doing for 2 years? (30-September-2010)
I have been having a blast, silly. No, seriously, I've been doing some really cool stuff.
Actually, I have been working on a number of non-web related projects, most notably a campaign at Miami to end my school's harmful and irresponsible use of coal as an energy and heating source. If we're to truly be serious about a commitment to sustainability, then we can't use arguably the worst, most destructive method to power the campus. I first wrote about it in my
blog a long time ago and have been working on the campaign with my activist friends ever since (well, and before). In addition to my blog, I have
written angry letters to the editor of The Miami Student and I even
got interviewed a few weeks ago, and have also been working on and off on
our campaign's website. Also, as part of my duties as Green Oxfords V.P. Of information, I maintain the
organization's website. Lastly, I have been working with Miami's Social Action Center to build their website, which you can see
the finalized-but-not-live version of, I doubt they mind me showing it.
So that's me, I'm graduating in a few months and have been developing a master plan with one of my friends. We'll see how that goes.
Peace.
